Technical Key Accounts Manager

Hire Resolve is a leading recruitment agency specializing in placing qualified professionals in various industries. We are currently seeking a Technical Key Accounts Manager to join our Client in Durban. You will be responsible for providing technical services to various Facilities Management contracts and projects. Responsible to run, manage, operate, and control these services. Manage staff, resources, and infrastructure. Ensure cost control, budgeting and profitability. Ensure quality of product. Grow and develop the technical services division
Responsibilities- Develop and manage robust strategy and annual plans for the contract
- Ensure optimal structure and management of the contract to enhance operational efficiency
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for contract longevity and customer relationship
- Apply best practice frameworks aligned with the company quality policy
- Conduct regular reviews of processes, procedures, and plans; submit accurate and timely reports
- Manage SLA compliance, governance, and performance reporting to clients
- Develop market knowledge and inform AFMS of growth opportunities
- Analyze markets, industry trends, competitors, and clients for strategic planning
- Develop and implement strategies to secure new business and identify future services
- Create high-standard tender documents
- Support executive management in setting vision, strategic roadmap, and business plans
- Evaluate technologies for sustainability and innovation
- Plan industrialization and commercialization of technology innovations
- Define and implement effective organizational and operational structures
- Maintain links with external professional bodies and standards organizations
- Advise on high-risk, high-return technologies for existing or new business
- Monitor and assess new technologies for potential product or service development
- Oversee research project selection and implement technical service procedures
- Act as a technical consultant and develop client partnerships
- Grade 12
- PR Eng or BTech in a technical discipline
- Minimum 5-10 years of technical experience in facilities management
- Enhanced knowledge of air conditioning maintenance
- Expertise in electrical maintenance and procedures
- Familiarity with equipment and machinery
- Understanding of OHSA codes and health and safety procedures
- Knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and ISO 18001 standards
- Proficiency in technical drawing
- Computer literate
- Good understanding of the Labour Relations Act and HR policies and procedures
- Knowledge of BBBEE requirements
