Duties:Â
  • Generate quotes and book in orders using the internal quoting and data system (VDS).
  • Draw up parts from existing samples and reference drawings in CAD format for flame and laser cutting purposes.
  • Have quotes and drawings confirmed by the customer for processing.
  • Liaise with customers in person, via telephone, fax and email regarding their cutting requirements and orders.
  • Follow up on sent quotes.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with a varied customer base.
  • Follow up on and provide feedback to customers regarding their work in progress.
  • Liaise with different departments to ensure the smooth flow of orders.
  • Add to and maintain a comprehensive parts database.
  • Assist as and when required by management.
