PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The monitoring of dealer network sales functions and implementation from OEM level to
Dealership policies, targets, incentives. The monitoring of new and used vehicle sales strategies, goals and targets.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / Relevant business degree or alternatively a National Diploma

  • Substantial knowledge of the motor industry and extensive understanding of management and operations of a motor dealership
  • Good financial acumen. Must at least can understand financial processes and statements
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills
  • Excellent communications skills and presentation skills
  • Good business acumen in understanding business operations processes
  • Team player and good interpersonal skills
  • Management and leadership skills
  • Excellent reporting skills
  • Analytical ability

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Network Sales:

Ensure that dealer network sales activities are executed in an acceptable manner in terms of the following aspects:

  • Monitoring sales targets for dealers and controlling target achievement
  • Determine the required stock levels on new, used and demo vehicles
  • Generating relevant sales reports, statistics and analysis
  • Implement and monitor the Stellantis commercial policy
  • Monitoring the development of the dealer sales staff, activities and database for
  • Monitor the dealer processes with regards to CSI, Sales Action Plans, Audits, etc

Control Function:

Monitor operations at dealer level with regards to the following aspects:

  • Auditing of show rooms, demo units and new vehicles
  • Monitoring implementation of Brands Standards and advertising local standards
  • Identify and manage training and development needs for sales staff on OEM and dealer level
  • Monitoring competitor's activities in the dealer zones and resolving competition and conflict between dealers in respect of mandate

Customer Retention:

Assist in solving various types of problems in the dealer network and head office sales team with regards to delivery delay, customer claims, etc

Events:

Assist in launch events such as new vehicle launches, dealer opening, car exhibitions and corporate events in collaboration with the Head of Stellantis Brands

Dealer Incentives:

Implement and monitor incentive schemes for the dealerships in respect of:

  • Manage the operational aspects of incentive schemes
  • Calculate and forecast dealer incentives on a monthly basis
  • Provide information to the accounts department with regards to requisitions for payment of incentives

Used Vehicle Sales:

Manage and audit used vehicle stock and sales activities on dealer level

7 Carry out any additional or reasonable duties that may be allocated to you by management
