Job Description:

Billing Specialists are equipped with knowledge of billing procedures and great attention to detail. Their analytical ability is a valuable asset, while their communication skills can make a difference for customer relationships.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day invoicing and financial reporting of processes related to clients for all business lines.

The goal is to ensure the company charges its customers appropriately and collects payments in a timely manner in accordance with the contract/agreement.


Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant (B.Com degree).
  • 45 years Accounts Receivable Experience
  • Exposure to ERP's like Dynamics, Oracle will be preferred
  • Foreign Currency Experience
  • Excel Experience necessity

Additional Information

Billing Run:
(Experian SA, Lesotho)

  • Gather information for monthly Billing run
  • Receive variable invoicing (Automated File)
  • Import into system
  • Run Billing
  • Prepare files for Debit Order submitting
  • Extract Debit Order Returns and give it through for processing
  • Improve billing process i.e. Decision Analytics on AS400

Revenue

  • Review and process contracts to ensure billing is in line with agreed contracts in a timely manner
  • Improve processes and streamline process for all revenue streams
  • Oversee billings, credit adjustments and refunds on monthly basis.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams in resolving financial and revenue related issues.
  • Review and approve invoice Batches
  • Send Debtors AA out to Management
  • Address contract revenue administration issues with other departments
  • Assist in policy and procedure creation for A/R functions
  • Provide feedback on performance concerns/progress to manager regularly
  • Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement of
  • Company
  • Assist and provide feedback on internal and external audits
  • Respond to clients on any process related queries and manage 1st level escalations
  • Support Accounts Receivable Clerks daily and train new team members
  • Ensure all team members follow the accounting principles
