The incumbent will be responsible in building banking relationships with new businesses, working with existing business clients to expand the financial services they use, and ensuring products and services meet clients' needs.

The incumbent will be responsible for the portfolio of small, medium enterprises (transactional as well as credit).

Responsibilities:

  • Active Business Development management on transactional and credit products for the business banking division of the bank.
  • Manage and provide comprehensive banking services on all small and midsize businesses.
  • Build and Expand business banking sales.
  • Current and new client relationship management and record keeping.
  • Business Client Onboarding and processing.
  • Customer communication and information management.
  • Develop and provide enhancement to present banking services and products to enhance the banks presence within the communities we serve.
  • Maintain high quality of all banking assets such as business credit facilities.
  • Ensure optimal levels of customer service at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communication, or a similar field.
  • Experience as a Relationship Manager, in customer service, or a similar role. Ability to build and maintain strong client and business relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of (CRM) Customer Relationship Management and Market Conduct

Experience:

  • Total of 7 years commercial banking experience, of which 3 years is managing commercial relationships.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • A background in customer service or sales is essential with good networks being beneficial.
  • Experience in problem solving and taking ownership for dispute resolution.
  • Accurate and strong attention to detail and analytical capability.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player with good people management skills.
  • Composed and confident to interact with internal and external Senior Executives
  • Strong time management skills and ability to comply with strict deadlines and ability to work in a busy and strenuous environment.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and writing skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Action orientated and solution driven.
  • Strategic thinker and ability to analyze and solve problems quickly.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must possess superior customer service skills proven marketing and sales skills.
  • Applies knowledge of banking products and services to meet customer needs and enable them to achieve their financial goals.
  • Ability to understand core business products and services.
