RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a highly motivated Commercial Account Manager to join our client's team in Cape Town. Our client is a reputable company in the Food and Beverage industry, known for delivering high-quality products to their customers. As the Commercial Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage key accounts, nurture relationships with existing customers, and drive revenue growth. You will also be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the industry. The ideal candidate for this role is a strategic thinker with a strong background in account management in the Food and Beverage sector.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow key accounts by building strong relationships and understanding their needs
  • Develop and execute account plans and strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Food and Beverage industry
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and success
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify market opportunities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer loyalty
  • Manage and resolve any customer issues or concerns

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management, preferably in the Food and Beverage industry
  • Strong understanding of the Food and Beverage industry and market trends
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Proactive and self-motivated attitude with a strong drive for results
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
