We have an exciting new career opportunity for a
Commercial Manager (Africa) to join a leading B2B solution provider for casino operators at their offices in
Cape Town.

They are looking for someone with strong commercial and business sense, that can manage a Key Account Management team and ensure they upsell and grow their operators' revenues.

This role requires a lot of local and international travel, so being vaccinated is mandatory. If you have a strong similar background and extensive knowledge of the African iGaming market, this

Your key
job responsibilities as the
Commercial Manager (Africa) in
Cape Town will include:

  • Analyse sales and other reports that give insight into how a company can make adjustments to improve performance
  • Develop strategic plans to encourage business growth
  • Management of a team of account managers and growing the team
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Key Account Management department to achieve revenue targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all accountrelated issues
  • Use analytics to create action plans that are based off data and statistics and interpret results against targets
  • Partnering with business managers to drive financial performance
  • Oversee staff, suppliers, and contractors to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Assist with negotiating contracts
  • Oversee monthly spend with vendors
  • Assisting with the budgeting process, review the monthly financial reports and manage expenses over budget
  • Implementing research activities to analyse client feedback and monitoring new and existing project plans and executions for desirable results
  • Notifying process problems and challenges to sales and marketing departments and maintaining brand relationships with sales and marketing teams and clients effectively
  • Gather feedback from customers, study other customer success programs and analyse customer data to identify the best practices
Requirements for this
Commercial Manager (Africa) job in
Cape Town:

  • Must have a strong sales background and experience managing a high performing account management & sales team with ambitious KPIs
  • Strong knowledge of the African iGaming market
  • Must have experience in the betting and gaming industry
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful Key Account Management strategies that have driven revenue growth and improved customer satisfaction
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve departmental goals
  • Strong drive for results
  • Fluent in English, additional languages considered extremely valuable
  • Proactive and strong communicator (commercial negotiator focus)
  • Knowledge of longer and complex sales cycles
  • Willingness to travel within South Africa, Africa, and overseas
  • Must be fully vaccinated
