The cluster focusses on retail products, as well as group schemes.

What will you do?

  • Under general supervision, performs a limited variety of clerical duties for functional groups involving compiling and arranging data, making standard computations, processing and coding documents and maintaining records and files. Routines are generally prescribed and supervision is readily available.

To ensure that Advisers are onboarded and terminated according to a process, including ensure a fit and proper evaluation during the appointment process and during employment.

Further to ensure that all commissions are correctly calculated and implemented. This role is a QA role in support of the Field Administrators at Branch / Regional level.

  • Internal and External Recovery
  • Recoveries: Adviser Debt Search via Portal
  • Recoveries: Recommendation for Litigation
  • Write off Debt
  • Preform Agency Check (Including Fraud)
  • Manual Process
  • Termination: Traditional Brokers & MOSP & MOBC
  • Agency Termination
  • Recoveries: Pension Administration
  • Recoveries: Balance Statement (Agency, SAI & MORs)
  • Termination: MOR
  • Termination Sanlam Affiliated Representative (I)
  • SAN Franchise Closure Process
  • Termination: Traditional Brokers Reps (I)


Compliance training
  • Ensure that all Advisers and Brokers are FAIS compliant
  • Recording and updating FAIS compliance requirements
  • Monitoring New Business Rules, Legislation (FAIS (Fit & Proper), Supervision, PPR, Debarment, FICA & PDD)


Commission management
  • Ensure that commission calculations are completed as part of the onboarding process
  • Commissions review and processing (Broker and Tied)
  • Administration of Loans and advances for Advisers


Replacement administration
  • Handling internal and external replacements process as per policy replacement standard.
  • Investigate internal replacements and provide resolution in terms of Rule 2A and Rule 19 to stakeholders.
  • Keep control measures in place to comply with prescribed process and procedures.
  • Highlight on current procedures for replacements to be effectively managed.
  • Highlight to management noncompliance of procedures.
  • Build relationship with own manager and other stakeholders.
  • Remain up to date with industry changes and new products being launched.
  • Understand internal systems (Pavlov, Athena, Intranet, Avaya, CCM, FAFA)
  • Handing of requests/enquiries that can be triggered from clients or system.
  • Handling and solving general complaints received by the department.


Qualifications
  • Minimum Matric
  • Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Working knowledge of products and services.
  • Indepth understanding of industry standards and company policies.
  • Good customer focus.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.


Knowledge and Experience
  • Minimum 23 years' insurance related experience
  • Computer literacy in MS Word and Excel is essential.
  • Experience in the Insurance industry an advantage.
  • Client engagement skills (Medium / High)
  • Must be able to work on MS outlook and Ms teams
