Our client is a Public entity based at Midrand, Gauteng and they seek the services of 3 Temp Finance Administrators.


This is a brokerage arrangement and the employees will remain in the books of our Agency

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting/management accounting
  • At least 2.5 Years of experience in Finance / Accounting
  • Experience with ERP systems; preferably Sage evolution.

DUTIES

  • Verify, allocate and post financial transactions into the correct journal accounts.
  • Prepare and post entries into the general ledger and accounts within the stipulated time frame.
  • Receive and verify service provider invoices before submitting them for approval.
  • Perform suppliers and payments reconciliations.
  • Ensuring all payment batches have the necessary signatures and payments are made within the required timeframe.
  • Respond to finance enquiries by gathering, analysing, summarising, and interpreting data.
  • Prepare payment requisitions and perform creditors' reconciliation.
  • Capture monthly Discretionary and Mandatory journals and prepare monthly reconciliation.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly revenue reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly revenue journals
- preparation of Commitment register

  • Maintain the monthly expenditure listings
  • Upload levies data from DHET into the skills portal

Remuneration:

R gross per month
