Restaurant Seating and Operational Hours:

  • Seating Capacity: Up to 250 guests
  • Operational Hours: Open daily, including weekends and public holidays, from 09:00 to 17:00

Salary:

R10,000 - R12,000 per month based on experience.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 3 years of management experience in a fastpaced highend restaurant, with a guest seating of 250 and above.
  • Experience in coordinating all restaurant operations.
  • Must be able to work weekends, public holidays, off days as per roster
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer literacy, including the use of POS software such as Pilot for cashups, dayend, and monthend procedures.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and own reliable transportation for travel to and from work.
  • Provide recent contactable references, preferably with landline numbers.
  • Commit to a permanent position and be available to start immediately.
  • Embrace the fastpaced environment, maintaining fitness to keep up with the demands of the role.
  • Handle customer concerns graciously, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
  • Utilize excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with staff and customers.

Floor Manager Duties:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and highquality service delivery.
  • Supervise and train staff, to uphold restaurant standards and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to optimize stock control procedures.
  • Develop and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively to maintain positive guest relations.
  • Monitor cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely delivery of orders.
  • Assist in marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain customers.
