Duties/Pligte
- Diary management and scheduling appointments for patients (three doctors and four nurse practitioners);
- Rescheduling and following up on patient appointments;
- Answering telephone calls;
- Performing general reception duties (e.g., scheduling car hire / flights);
- Managing the flow of patients;
- Checking in and signing off on medication for patients;
- Electronic registration of patients;
- Daily communication with medical aids;
- Scanning and filing of patient documents;
- Cash and credit card payment handling;
- Knowledge of billing;
- Record-keeping and reporting according to guidelines;
- Communicating with external service providers;
- Managing the reception area;
- Maintaining effective service to patients;
- Maintaining the confidentiality of all personnel and patients;
- Participating in institutional activities applicable to service delivery;
- Assisting with the development of applicable innovative processes to improve on continuous service delivery.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- Grade 12;
- Two years' experience in a medical reception environment;
- Computer literate in, amongst others, MS Office;
- Problem-solving skills;
- Effective and accurate data-capturing skills;
- Punctual and reliable;
- Proven planning, organising and time management skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Proven ability to function effectively within a team;
- The ability to function effectively under pressure;
- Strong disposition towards client service.
- Graad 12;
