Insurance Operations Manager

Our client, a prominent government-owned development bank, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Operations Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing functional unit business plans for both life and non-life insurance businesses, contributing to the strategic objectives of the organization. Additionally, this role will oversee the effective functioning of claims management processes across all product lines to drive efficient client service and ensure customer centricity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business plans for the life and non-life insurance units.
- Oversee and manage claims processes across all product lines.
- Drive efficient client servicing and ensure a customer-centric approach.
- Develop and enhance systems and processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure quality assurance and adherence to good underwriting principles.
Preferred Minimum Education and Experience:
- Honours BCom in Finance, Business Management, Risk Management, or Insurance.
- 8-10 years of experience in insurance operations and claims management.
- 8-10 years of experience with insurance operating systems.
Critical Competencies:
- Expertise in developing and implementing systems and processes.
- Strong background in claims management and quality assurance.
- In-depth understanding of underwriting principles.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work extended hours as required.
- Availability for travel as needed.
