JOB PURPOSE:

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Lead Generation:

  • Generate sales leads and appointments by cold calling.
  • Generate sales leads and referrals by networking and relationships.
  • Generate sales leads by approved marketing drives and campaigns.

Marketing:

  • Assist in the design and drive of marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in keeping website content updated and relevant.
  • Assist in creating a social media platform presence.
  • Represent Online Intelligence at industry forums.
  • Attend industry conferences and exhibitions.
  • Assist in the arranging of and representation at exhibits and expositions as required.

Sales:

  • Actively drive sales and sales targets of the respective loan products offered.
  • Understand Manati's key business drivers (e.g. revenue, cost) and anticipate impact of business decisions and solutions;
  • Present the loan product and solutions to prospective clients through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Draft and distribute approved proposals and quotes.
  • Followup on proposals and quotes.
  • Drive upselling initiatives and engagements at existing clients.

Administration:

  • Update sales pipeline with all proposals and quotes sent out.
  • Update sales board as required.
  • Request and drive new contracts or amended contracts with current and prospective clients.
  • Handover closed deals to Sales/Applications and Collections teams with scope of solution and an inperson briefing/meeting.
  • Ensure invoicing takes place correctly and on time on all new deals concluded.
  • Keep contact with clients during implementation to ensure satisfaction.
  • Continuously update and improve presentation templates required for demonstrations and presentations.
  • Build expertise and knowledge on services and solutions offered.

Partners:

  • Build relationships with partners.
  • Ensure and drive effective communication to partners.
  • Stay abreast of latest partner developments.
  • Facilitate partner training and orientation on Products and Services.
  • Assist partners with collaborative client meetings and presentations.

Client Relations:

  • Ensure the respective clients experience service excellence from the first engagement.
  • Routine followup with clients regarding satisfaction and solution expansion.
  • Build and maintain client and industry relationships.
  • Client onboarding with both Sales and Accounting/Billing departments;

Market Research:

  • Research and evaluate market movements, developments and requirements.
  • Identify new markets and industries to be targeted.
  • Identify and evaluate Online products and service offerings against market and technology movements.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

  • Grade 12/Matric Certificate nonnegotiable;
  • B.Com Degree or equivalent qualification would be advantageous;
  • Min 2 years Business Development / Sales experience with a proven track record in lead generation, client relations and building partnerships;
  • Excellent communication and client relations skills;
  • Ability to understand client requirements and translate into actions and/or solutions;
  • High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent knowledge and working experience on Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Quick learner;
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision;
  • Proof of South African Citizenship or Permanent Residency essential;
  • Driver's License with own vehicle would be advantageous;
  • No criminal record and a lifestyle that can stand up to intense vetting and clearance scrutiny;

IMPORTANT:

  • The starting salary is a basic of between R14,000
  • R20,000 per month, excluding commission, depending on previous experience.
  • Successful employment includes a 3month probation period.
  • Salary adjustments are made on an annual basis from employment date and are performance related.
  • The role is office based, with occasional travel to clients and to attend exhibitions, etc.
