The farm consists of a hotel, spa, wine cellar, nursery, food garden, waste plant, aerobic wastewater treatment plant, and freshwater supply plant.


Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all company facilities, including buildings, equipment, and grounds.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the proper functioning of all facilities.
  • Lead and manage new infrastructure projects from inception to completion,including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination of contractors and
stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and costeffective maintenance and repairs.
  • Manage property leases, contracts, and tenant relationships for all companyowned or leased properties.
  • Oversee security measures for all facilities, including surveillance systems, access control, and emergency response protocols.
  • Review, adapt and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of employees and assets.
  • Implement and oversee health and safety management protocols specific to a hospitality property, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe
environment for guests and staff.

  • Manage a hospitality maintenance team responsible for maintaining the upkeep of guestfacing areas and amenities.
Oversee IT network infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all technologysystems.

  • Responsible for the development and oversight of the property budget and for providing reports on facility management, water, waste, renewable energy, and
electricity consumption objectives.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Appropriate qualifications in facilities and project management. Proven track record and expertise in facilities and property management systems and practices.
  • Security management
  • Project management
  • Hospitality maintenance and best practice
  • IT infrastructure planning and management
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills in managing teams and engaging an extended stakeholder group.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft 365 and Teams, facilities management software, security systems, project management tools, and IT infrastructure management tools.

A family home on the farm is available.

Salary is dependent on experience.
