Dispatch Administrative Assistant

We are recruiting an energetic administrative assistant for our dynamic, industry leading company in the IT/ retail sector, based in Centurion, to assist our dispatch team.
Responsibility includes:
- Booking of orders.
- Waybill administration.
- Weekly stock take and reports on all packaging materials.
- Working alongside the dispatch, warehouse, and stock teams to ensure orders get dispatched timeously.
- Communicating with the couriers and following up on problem parcels.
- Client communication and resolving of client queries regarding their parcels.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Assisting the Dispatch Manager with risk and insurance related administration, as well as all required administrative and data capturing tasks.
- Assisting the Dispatch Manager in ensuring the department functions efficiently.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Must hold a Matric minimum.
- Own transport required.
- Problemsolving attitude.
- Excellent administrative and data capturing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- A willingness to learn.
- A good team player.
- Excellent client communication skills and a positive demeanour.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Centurion, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- High School (matric) (required)
Experience:
