Sales and Customer Service Representative

We are currently seeking a Sales and Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for answering incoming customer queries via Zendesk and phone. You will also respond to tutor queries regarding billing, payments, accounts management, and general support.
In addition to customer service, you will be required to respond to sales enquiries and leads, match customers with suitable tutors, and make sales calls to potential leads.
The job may also involve calling B2B leads and pitching our services to company decision makers, so good sales and phone skills are imperative.
Other responsibilities will include following up on recent leads, chasing customers with overdue invoices, selling prepaid tuition packages, and performing general admin tasks such as research and data entry as required.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming customer queries via Zendesk and phone.
- Respond to tutor queries regarding billing, payments, accounts management, and general support.
- Respond to sales enquiries and leads.
- Match customers with suitable tutors.
- Make sales calls to potential leads.
- Call B2B leads to pitch our services to company decision makers.
- Follow up on recent leads.
- Chase customers with overdue invoices.
- Sell packages of prepaid tutoring.
- Perform other general administrative tasks such as research and data entry as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or sales.
- Previous experience interacting with customers over the phone to a high level.
- Targetdriven, with experience working to KPIs and hitting them consistently.
- Proactive attitude with a drive to succeed and push forward sales numbers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with Zendesk or similar customer service software.
- Ability to work fully remote.
Hours: 9am - 5pm UK time
Days:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Please ensure you are available during these working hours.
Salary:
R130.00 per hour
