Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS) is a leading entity in developing and providing trading and financial software solutions for specialized Distribution, Wholesale, Merchant, and Retail industry sectors, catering to single or multi-branch operations, as well as organizations with 'point-of-sale' showrooms and warehouses.

In the Rewards team, this position collaborates with HR Business Partners and fellow Rewards Partners in managing compensation and benefits. Responsibilities include overseeing payroll and benefits programs, Pension, Reward policies, and remuneration practices.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, commissions, bonuses, allowances, benefits, and taxes.
  • Manage payroll updates like new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes.
  • Prepare and maintain precise records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Submit Quarterly STATS SA return.
  • Create variance reports for all payroll entities and analyze month-to-month differences.
  • Ensure timely delivery of employer contributions and employee deductions to carriers or administrators.
  • Prepare monthly EMP201 reports.
  • Reconcile records in HRIS and payroll systems monthly.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary records and documentation.
  • Administer employee insurance programs, pension plans, and inform employees about benefit-related changes.
  • Stay updated on trends and best practices in compensation and benefits.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Key Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in payroll and tax processing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, etc.).
