Job Advert Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for 3 key performance areas:
Complementary Products
Will be responsible for the oversight of the medical scheme fund(s) within the organization with regard to complementary products design, implementation and monitoring across all areas of the business.
Fund Management
Direct engagement with the client, overall management of the client meetings including the agendas and minutes. Build strong relationships with clients, proactively identify client needs and requirements to promote the company's solutions.
Strategic Management
Working with the Executive team to implement PPSHAs strategic objectives.
Play a multifaceted role in supporting the executive team and contributing to the overall success of the organization through effective communication, organization, and strategic thinking.
The role involves a great deal of multitasking, working with the Clients management team as well as PPSHA leadership team.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree essential
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in healthcare management, medical scheme administration, or health insurance operations.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of medical scheme regulations, healthcare financing, and managed care principles.
- Excellent leadership skills
- Analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proven track record of achieving results.
- Practical knowledge and understanding of stakeholder engagement
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Maintenance of professional image at all times
- High levels of integrity, honesty and reliability and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail, planning, organizing, information management and monitoring

- Collate reports and ensure that all documentation prepared is in line with the business quality standards.
