    Overall purpose of the role
  • To support the disability claims consultants in the validation, processing and payment of disability claims.
    Key responsibilities
  • Complete the full Administration process of disability benefits payable in monthly instalments and disability benefits payable in lump sums
  • Calculation and payments of benefits
  • Liaising with internal and external clients
  • Record keeping, summarising information and updating systems
  • Understand and interpret policy definitions and rules
  • Reporting as and when required


 Qualifications and experience
  • Matric with Mathematics and/or Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in employee benefits or individual life


 Skills and knowledge
  • Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Group Risk Industry
  • General understanding of Employee Benefits
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel specifically)
