To manage all the New & Used Vehicle Sales in terms of:
Financials & profitability, new vehicle ordering, prospect, stock management, marketing, advertising, communications, new product launches, and Customer promotions events. To maximise all opportunities with new and existing Customers to ensure long term business relations are established and maintained.


Drive a high-level of performance among the sales team to increase market share, achieve targeted unit sales and profit margins while drive an exceptional customer experience along the way.


Educational Requirement:

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • Driver's license
  • Tertiary qualification specifically in Management and /or Sales Management would a distinct advantage

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent automotive sales manager experience.
  • Management of Sales Teams, Targets and Business Plans
  • Proven experience in customer communications, Marketing and New product launches
  • Proven experience in financial management in a Dealership environment

Technical Competencies:

  • Data management System
  • CDK/Keyloop
  • MS Office literate
  • Finance, Business Planning and Budgets
  • Leveraging Social Media opportunities

Main Responsiblities but not limited too:

  • Leading self and the team in a way that supports our Vision and Mission.
  • Setting a clear vision and goals for the sales team to achieve targeted performance in new and used vehicle sales and profit.
  • Engaging and motivating the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations and best practice processes.
  • Driving the business through a highlevel of involvement in the daytoday operations.
  • Managing the negotiation process with Sales Executives ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing.
  • Appraising vehicles for trade.
  • Managing all three areas of customer traffic: Showroom, E-Commerce, and Phones.
  • Partnering with Dealer Principal to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory.
  • Assisting in managing controllable expense elements for the New and Used Vehicle Departments.
  • Analysing the business to determine shortfalls and developing action plans to improve performance.
