Requirements:

  • Understanding of the target markets and industries, such as mining, construction or manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the industrial, mining or engineering products or services sectors.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in export sales or international business development.
  • Experience in managing international client relationships and sales processes.

Duties:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with international clients mainly in Africa.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints and feedback.
  • Develop and implement export sales plans and strategies.
  • Set sales targets and objectives for international markets.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal sales for quote preparations and proposals for potential customers.
  • Conduct virtual meetings with clients to discuss product requirements and solutions.
  • Plan monthly site visits to African territories for customer solution finding and product recommendations.
  • Identify and target new customers.
  • Review and update sales contracts and documentation.
