Biocair has experienced significant growth in the last three years leading to rapid expansion of our business volumes, revenues, infrastructure, and number of new people hired.
This fast growth has helped to position Biocair as a trusted partner for many leading Pharma companies aligned to our mission of Moving Science Forward.
However, this has brought its own challenges, testing our systems and processes which have sometimes hindered our ability to work at pace.
This role is therefore instrumental in building and driving the critical changes and innovation needed for end-to-end global transformation.In this role:
This role will be a trusted partner and consultant, demonstrating understanding of the functional and business realities, addressing complex people-related challenges, providing ideas, insights, flexible and innovative solutions, risk analyses, and challenge, to shape and inform longer term strategic and operational problem-solving.
What we would like from you:
- A proven track record of being able to lead the delivery of a full range of operational People activities, providing expert guidance and support and building strong working relationships with managers to ensure they act fairly and consistently to achieve the best outcomes for the business.
- To have a working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and recruitment.
- Experience of administering employee training and career development requirements to fulfil the Workplace Skills Plan and annual BBBEE certification.
- Proven ability to work effectively in teams and with individuals at all levels within an organization and understanding of different cultural contexts.
- Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and ethical behaviour.
Desirable:
- Experience of delivering HR support in a global company, looking after multiple locations
- Knowledge of Indian Employment Law and legislation
Benefits include:
- Hours 40
- Bonus eligibility for a discretionary annual company bonus scheme. Further details will be provided with any offer of employment but the language to use is an "on target 14% or 17.5%" discretionary performance related bonus. Sales employees will be eligible to participate in the Sales Commission Scheme and further details will be provided with any offer of employment. We have either bonus or commission but never both. Bonus payments are in February. Sales Commission is paid quarterly. Anyone joining after 30th September would not be eligible for bonus consideration for the year in which they joined).
- Pension employee contributes 7.5% and employer 9%?
- Holiday 20 days initially, increasing by 1 day per year of service up to 25 days after 5 years. Holiday year January to December.
- Life Insurance Up to 4X salary.
Medical Insurance
- Compulsory participation in Medical Aid benefit. Company pays 50% of premium, including cost to add immediate family (not parents)
