About the Role:

AZ Business Professionals is seeking a highly skilled Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing merchandising strategies that drive sales and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Merchandising Strategies: Plan and execute merchandising strategies that balance customer expectations and business objectives.
• Market Analysis and Trend Forecasting: Analyze sales figures, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
• Collaboration and Negotiation: Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities, and time-scales.
• Visual Merchandising: Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
• Store Operations: Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory.
• Financial Planning: Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs, etc.
• Customer Relationships: Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
• Industry Knowledge: Remain up to date with industry's best practices.
