Job Objective:
The successful Sales Directors will oversee the Hexing Electrical sales team to ensure they meet sales targets.
They will be responsible for leading and motivating their team to make more sales and to improve their overall customer service skills with clients.
The successful
Sales Director will also be responsible for building strategic plans and goals for their team members to closely follow to ensure they hit their sales targets.
They will also be responsible for conducting research to help them determine what the sales team's weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas and objectives will be.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and oversee strategies and plans to achieve the set business
- Work to improve customer base.
- Build and maintain good, lasting relationships with clients.
- Create and maintain accurate records and sales reports.
- Determining Hexing Electricals' national sales strategy and relaying this to the
- Receiving and analysing sales reports from Regional Sales Directors on a
- Reporting to the CEO on the status of the Sales Department.
- Supervising the activities of the Sales Staff.
- Providing guidance to the Sales Staff. This includes the development of support

Communicating with new and existing clients for quality control purposes.
- Maintaining Hexing Electricals' visibility by organizing or attending marketing
- Market research on a continuous basis.
- Communicating with Customer representatives and ensuring that customer
- Helping in the design of custom-made products.
Job Evaluation Criteria
Qualification
Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Sales/ Marketing or related field.
Knowledge and Experience
Minimum 10 years' experience in the Electricity Meter Industry.
At least 10 years' + experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director.
Proven sales executive experience in meeting, or exceeding targets.
MUST HAVE successfully completed projects for the Municipalities and Metropolitans.
MUST HAVE previously worked for or currently works for either Conlog, Landis+Gyr or
Contec.
Skills
Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level (senior executives).
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
Proven ability to position products against competitors.
Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
