SafetyGrip (PTY) Ltd is in need of a qualified and experienced Code 14 Driver to ensure speedy and accurate deliveries locally and provisionally.

Duties:

  • Ensure that the vehicle is checked on a daily basis as per checklist.
  • Obtain all invoices to be delivered to customers from the supervisor.
  • Ensure that all items on the invoices have been loaded onto the vehicle.
  • Tighten and strap down all tyres for safety purposes.
  • Deliver the goods to the relevant customer.
  • Load and offload tyres without any delay.
  • Request the customer to sign all invoices, credit notes and road sheets
  • Provide the customer with the second copy of the invoice and return the original copy to the office.
  • Collect any tyres from the customer when necessary.
  • Ensure that a job card is completed correctly for any collected tyres.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Arrange with the Supervisor that the vehicle services are booked well in advance for every km.
  • Ensure that torque wrenches are turned out and jacks have enough hydraulic fluid when doing breakdowns.
  • Complete torque wrench register after every breakdown.

Requirements:

  • Must reside in or near the Roodepoort area.
  • Must have a valid Code 14 drivers license and PDP.
  • Must have experience doing deliveries and collections.
  • Must have a well sense of Route Planning.
  • Must have Administrative experience.

Salary Structure and Working Conditions:

  • A basic of R basic per month per month.
  • Long Distance Allowance of R per month, should the employee sleep out.
  • Fuel Management R per month, should the employee meet the criteria.
  • Truck Cleanliness Allowance of R per month, should the employee meet the criteria.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
R9,000.00 per month

  • Roodepoort, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Deliveries: 2 years (required)
