The incumbent of this position (reporting to the

Senior Manager:

Dealer Planning) will be responsible for supporting planning and decision making in the Demand Planning Department (Dealer Planning) to ensure an effective outbound logistics process by actively optimising dealer and other channels order/ allocation and overall stock management functions., and dealer pipeline management.

This includes cross functional liaison with other divisions in TSAM as well as TTC.


KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Dealer Management
Monitor Dealer performance in terms of vehicle pipeline management.

Monitor and Manage dealer entitlement/ allocation process to ensure an equitable supply of vehicles to all dealers.

Manage visibility of supply to the dealer network.

Identify and action improvement areas.

Support TALA with pipeline management presentation for sales managers induction and DPOP sessions.

Conduct dealer and stakeholder visits.

Stock Management
Manage visibility of central stock and future slots.

Monitor and manage unallocated stock in the supply chain.

Upload capacity from GPPS for local models.

Monitor and manage aged stock in the supply chain.

Identify and action improvement areas

Manage and monitor run out models

Order Management
Manage and maintain optimal order limit levels

Manage vehicle backorder status in terms of models, colors and options

Feedback into Demand Planning Section regarding suggested future orders on source

Manage staff, fleet/special vehicle allocation process

Identify and action improvement areas

Effective communication and feedback to dealer network.

Preparations and presentation of Stock Obeya meetings.

New Vehicle introduction process
Manage model supersession's

Manage and monitor entitlement methodology

Manage backorder conversion process

Ensure fair 1st allocation of vehicles

Manage visibility of new vehicle stock

Manage milestones (Order opening, RTD and retail inception dates).

Identify and action improvement areas

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

NQF Level 6 (Minimum 360 credits on level 8 framework) qualification in Business & Supply chain management or similar.

Analytics or Supply Chain background (at least 5 years).

SAP knowledge and experience.
