Requirements:

  • A relevant B degree in Commerce, Project Management, Transport
Management or similar field.

  • Minimum two (2) to five (5) years' relevant experience within a
public transport environment, including managerial experience in

local government aligned to the KPAs below.

  • Contract/supply chain management experience would be
advantageous.

  • Must have high levels of competency in MS Excel, and other
Microsoft Office packages.

  • A valid driver's licence.
Key Performance Areas

  • Contribute to the processes of analysing data and trends, measure
key performance indicators and update the Service Charter.

  • Coordinate, identify, evaluate and assess risks and provide input
into the Department Risk Management plan.

  • Draft complex correspondence and reports
  • Prepare, coordinate and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual
reports.

  • Provide support in respect of IDP, Service Delivery Business
Improvement Programme (SDBIP), Organisational Performance

Management (OPM).

  • Provide assistance to ensure effective financial control through
implementation of budgetary control measures to comply with

MFMA and Councils procedures and strategies, provide support to

the department including the preparation of capital and operating

estimates and expenditure control.

  • Manage the administrative function for the monitoring, track and
update tender contracts and update the schedules, logs and

arrangement of tender meetings.

  • Provide feedback on contractor performance and contract
management via SAP.

  • Monitor and resolve HR matters.
