  • B. Bibl/B.LIS or PG Dipl. LIS or B. Inf (Hons)
  • 4 years' cataloguing experience with a proven track record of
using MARC standards for cataloguing.

  • At least 2 years supervisory experience in managing a team of
cataloguers is recommended.

  • Experience in analysing of reports will be advantageous
  • Computer literacy

Providing direction and strategic decision in maintenance of the

catalogue.

  • Managing cataloguing operations pertaining to the organising and
facilitating of the retrieval of bibliographic data

  • Developing and managing relationships and partnerships
pertaining to cataloguing
