As an ICT Sales Consultant for Office Automation, you will be responsible for selling information and communication technology (ICT) solutions and services to businesses looking to enhance their office automation processes. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, propose tailored solutions, and ultimately drive sales in the field of office automation technology.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Engagement:
  • Identify potential clients and generate leads through research, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and providing prompt solutions.
  1. Needs Analysis:
  • Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their office automation requirements, workflow processes, and pain points.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of clients' current ICT infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.
  1. Solution Proposals:
  • Develop and present customized ICT solutions, including hardware, software, and services, that align with the client's specific needs and budget.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals and presentations to potential clients.
  1. Product Knowledge:
  • Stay updated on the latest office automation technologies and trends, including document management systems, digital collaboration tools, cloud services, and security solutions.
  • Be knowledgeable about the products and services offered by the company and effectively communicate their value to clients.
  1. Sales Quotas:
  • Set and achieve sales targets and revenue quotas within specified timelines.
  • Regularly report on sales progress, opportunities, and challenges to the sales manager or team.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with technical teams, solution architects, and support staff to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of sold solutions.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to promote ICT solutions and generate interest from potential clients.
  1. Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and contracts.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation and contracts are completed accurately and on time.
  1. Post-Sale Support:
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients, ensuring that their ICT solutions are effectively implemented and meeting their expectations.
  • Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Business, Sales, Marketing) or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in sales, ideally in the ICT or office automation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of office automation technologies, including hardware, software, and cloud services.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
  • Strong work ethic and a results-driven mindset.
