Description:

Would you be open to working for an established Textile Manufacturer producing merchandise for a sought-after Brand? An experienced Key Account Manager (preferably in Softs/Textiles) position is available for someone with proven, relevant experience in the above. A distinctive Brand that focuses on innovative product design, the Merchandiser would focus on Sales and Product Development and develop trusting relationships with Key Retailers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop trusting relationships with key clients to ensure they do not turn to the competition.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing new solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain relationships.
  • Play an integral part in generating sales that will turn into longlasting relationships.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Achieve or exceed sales and margin targets.

Requirements:

Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification essential.

Experience:
Proven relevant experience as Key Account Manager (definite Clothing/Textile experience).
