PURPOSE:


To attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users across all social media channels, achieving superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically leveraging all aspects of the social media marketing channel.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the RIB purpose, mission and brand identity.
  • Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
  • Collaborating with regional marketing teams to coordinate and assist with geotargeted content.
  • Work with creative team and resources to create compelling, digestible visuals and video to amplify social content.
  • Managing a high volume of daily social media posts.
  • Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Identifying and researching potential social media influencers.
  • Developing and managing social influencer programs and attending social influencer events.
  • Using social listening and other metrics to suggest recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
  • Assist in using insights data to map and develop our target audiences and buyer personas.
  • Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Sprout and other tools to monitor and evaluate the company's social media presence and performance.
  • Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts and tying them back to key social KPIs.
  • Conduct competitor analysis, sharing insights, benchmarks and battle strategies.
  • Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
  • Setting up an employee advocacy program and acting as an interface for upskilling colleagues on the power of social media and social selling.

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor's degree or formal qualification in Marketing or relevant field
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, Xing and other social media best practices
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Strong command of spoken and written English
  • Experience in any of the following tools/platforms highly regardedSalesforce Marketing Automation
