We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Executive to join our team and help execute social media strategies for both our agency and our clients.

Job Overview:


As a Social Media Executive at Seven Eight Six Media Group, you will be responsible for executing social media strategies that drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and generate leads for our agency and clients.

You will work closely with the design team and other social media executives to ensure all social media efforts align with broader marketing goals and brand messaging.


Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy Execution:

  • Create and execute social media strategies
  • Create and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
  • Implement social media campaigns to support marketing objectives and drive audience engagement.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Develop highquality, creative content, including images, videos, and written posts.
  • Ensure all content is onbrand, consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice.
  • Manage the social media content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of posts and campaigns.

Community Engagement:

  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions.
  • Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster a positive community experience.
  • Identify and engage with key influencers and brand advocates.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Track and analyse social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and native platform insights.
  • Prepare regular reports on social media metrics and provide insights to optimize future campaigns.
  • Monitor trends and competitor activities to inform social media strategies.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including designers, developers, and content creators, to produce cohesive and effective social media content.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their social media goals and provide regular updates on performance.

Trend Monitoring:

  • Stay uptodate with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and growth in social media activities.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus.
  • Strong organisational and timemanagement skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.

R10 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
