Teacher English FET
Location:
Pinnacle College Ridge View
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver highquality English lessons to Further Education and Training (FET) students
- Develop appropriate and engaging curriculum materials for English classes
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them improve their English skills
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure learning objectives are being met
- Collaborate with colleagues and other staff members to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and parentteacher conferences
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English or related field
- Teaching qualification/certification
- Previous experience teaching English to FET students preferred
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices in language teaching
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
As the eighth institution in the Pinnacle brand, PCRV will see its first Grade 12 students sit for the IEB exams in 2028.
