Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and Execute Dealer communications and retail campaigns.
  • Develop and sustain dealer relationships.
  • Develop and update Dealer marketing collateral.
  • Plan and Execute BAIC and Dealer Events.
  • Consistently monitor BAIC VI and CI standards
  • Assist in Communicate BAIC's vision and mission.
  • Assist in translating brand elements into plans and gotomarket strategies.
  • Manage a team of suppliers working on brand initiatives.
  • Assist in creative development of PR and media campaigns.
  • Establish sound media relationships to preserve BAIC's brand reputation.
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs.
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors' activities.
  • Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities.
  • Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions.
  • Management and maintenance of social media and digital platforms e.g. company websites
  • Consistently align the company around the brand's direction, choices, and tactics.
  • Assist in our brand positioning and consumer insights.
  • Helping shape and communicate our vision and mission.
  • Assist in monitoring Brand and PR budget.
  • Assist with dealer shopfitting.

Minimum qualification and experience / skills required:

  • Proven working experience with automotive brands.
  • Proven ability to develop brand and PR strategies and communicate recommendations to executives.
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns.
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix.
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind.
  • Datadriven thinking and an affinity for numbers.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Uptodate with latest trends and marketing best practices.
  • Degree or diploma in marketing and communications or a related field.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
