Job purpose

This individual will be responsible for the full brand management function of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Staff management
  • Responsible for the brands communication planning, execution and management
  • Responsible for formulating a brand communication management system and associated standards
  • Management of media and influencer test drive programmes and PR's.
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of the major brand events and activities
  • Overall brand CI materials development, CI audit initiative
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of all new product launches and evaluation of the launch effect
  • Responsible for market analysis, marketcrisis evaluation, public relations management and overall brand impression within the market.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing the annual brand strategies, goals, budgets, etc;
  • Work directly with Marketing Manager and Sales Team to establish and execute various strategies to advance the brand.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

  • A completed Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (i.e. News, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, etc.) is required.
  • A minimum of 810 years of management experience related to brand and communication in the automotive industry.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Bachelors (preferred)

Experience:

  • OEM: 5 years (preferred)
