Our Client in Randburg, is looking for a young and energetic Internal Sales Representative.

SUMMARY:
Responsible for all internal sales activities in assigned accounts or regions. Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with answering incoming calls
  • Assisting with verbal quotations via phone
  • Assist clients with product selections via phone
  • Followup on quotes for existing and new projects not yet ordered
  • Followup on delivery dates for existing order to be delivered
  • Followup on courier POD's when required
  • Followup on pro forma client payments within 14 days from date of order.
  • Dispatch and receiving of Gauteng stock
  • Balance Gauteng stock levels versus Baan
  • Assist external sales with all paperwork
  • Promote company products at all times
  • Daily printing of the outstanding sales report, 9000 orders & delivery notes
  • Capturing purchase order information onto BaaN
  • Distribution of and updating stock level reports
  • Ordering of stock for Johannesburg Warehouse
  • Liaising with production on sales and stock matters
  • Attend to calling customers
  • Manage all paper work regarding collecting customer
  • Liaise with accounts department on sales related matters
  • Liaise with factory staff on all customer related matters 24. Support external sales staff with all queries

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In depth technical knowledge of all products
  • You may from time to time be required to do deliveries, collections and site repair work
  • Report to sales team of upcoming projects based on information obtained from quote report
  • Identify potential new customers and channels to market
  • From time to time, duties, responsibilities and roles might require work to be done outside of this job description
  • Identification of any products which may offer increased sales potential
  • Gather and report on market information where required to
  • Gather competitor product information for sales team
  • Gather market information and report on this Knowledge and skills

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school (Matric; Grade 12) diploma or technical equivalent.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule though normal working hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm with 30 minute lunch break.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create, composes, and edits written material. Strong interpersonal and communication skill.
  • High level of computer literacy with excels, word, PDF and Power Point advanced skills.
  • Professional and neat appearance, nonsmoker, and ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans
  • Ability to work under pressure and to learn fast with time management skills
  • Creating demand of the products in our market.
  • Working as a key point contact between customer & organization.
  • Demonstrating product to the clients.
  • Handle complete sales life cycle and customer complaints
  • Ensuring high quality customer satisfaction and follow up and through
  • Selfanalysis and reporting skills.
  • Ensuring 100% of targets achievement.
  • Managing distribution channel of products. Knowledge and understanding of basic office policy and procedures and terminology
  • Be able to complete some routine and nonroutine tasks in an office environment
  • Be able to plan and organize both familiar and new tasks able to use a problemsolving approach to respond appropriately to a wide range of enquiries
  • Can produce and respond to detailed written and oral communication in an office setting
  • Use a range of numerical and graphical data for the office environment
  • Able to work on own initiative or with others on tasks with minimum supervision
  • Show an awareness of others' roles, responsibilities and requirements in carrying out tasks and instructions
