Our client in the automotive industry is seeking a Technical Support Coordinator to join their team in Pinetown KZN.

Keep a clear and concise record of All job bookings related to service, repair, maintenance, and electrical work.
***:
-
Bookings are to be made on a daily planning sheet.
***:
-
Follow-up on all bookings noted on the planning sheet. Bookings confirmed must then be captured to the Automate/SAP system.
***:
-
All relevant job cards for each day shall be opened and loaded on Automate/SAP prior to the booked day.
***:
***:
-
All job cards must be signed by the customer or appointed person of the Company.
***:
-
All job cards opened must have an instruction from the customer in terms of an order number or work instruction.
***:
-
The printed job cards shall then be handed to the Foreman for Technician allocation.
***:
-
Ensure that all relevant labor hours are correctly captured into the Automate/SAP system.
***:
-
To ensure that the description of work done is properly captured to ensure the customer has clarity about work performed.
***:
-
Correctly raise sublet orders to approved suppliers and sequentially file such orders.
***:
-
Ensure that all orders are approved by the Workshop Manager or Foreman prior.
***:
-
Raise all creditor/sublet orders timeously. As per the job card. Prior to the receipt of the sublet invoice.
***:
-
Capture creditor sublet invoices on a daily basis and ensure the net cost of the invoice is loaded.
***:
-
Prepare all creditor/sublet invoices and orders raised for the service.
***:
-
Manager to sign off prior to being sent to creditor department for payment.
***:
-
The Advisor shall inform the Foreman immediately if the credit facility on a debtor is insufficient to perform the work required.

All debtor-related job cards will be invoiced the day the job card is signed off by the Workshop Foreman.
***:
-
All cash sale job cards will be invoiced the same day the job card is signed off by the Workshop Foreman.
***:
-
It is the responsibility of the Advisor to ensure that all cash sales are recorded and that the Workshop Manager receives a report on the morning of the cash sale account.

Ensure that a receipt is attached to all cash sale job cards.
***:
-
Upsell the job card to the customer, creating higher profitability.
***:
-
Ensure that all labor hours are correctly captured.
***:
-
Strict control over attending to breakdowns and callouts.
***:
-
Ensure customer payments are made, the rule is - no breakdown will be attended to without an R5000 holding.
***:
-
Ensure that all the sellable items are recorded on Automate/SAP to maximize the profitability per job card.
***:
-
Ensure that all lubricants are captured on the invoice.
***:
***:
-
Manage relationships with customers, enhancing the brand.
***:
-
Continue to promote the company as a trustworthy and reliable brand.
***:
-
Pursue the philosophy of "customer is king."

REQUIREMENTS

Matric Certificate or higher.

Code 8 License.
***:

Minimum 2-3 Years' experience in a similar role.

Read and write in English.
