WAGE ADMINISTRATION

  • Prepare weekly wages for payment
  • Prepare 3rd party payments (e.g. sick fund, provident fund, UIF etc)
  • Integrate time and attendance system with payroll system
  • Keep track of pay periods, hourly wages, weekly wages, overtime, sick days and different leave types of employees
  • Ensure statutory deductions and payments are made
  • Ensure accurate and efficient input of payroll data on a weekly basis
  • Create and store backup and roll overs on VIP
  • Prepare wage information and data for monthly HR reports

HR ADMINISTRATION
Onboarding new employees

  • Prepare and issue contracts for new employees
- *Inducting new employees

  • Register new employees on the clockin system
  • Take new employees through all Company Policies and Procedures
  • Register employees with the Provident Fund and the Trade Union
Off-boarding employees
- *Conduct exit interviews

  • Prepare termination documentation

*Absenteeism

  • Monitor absenteeism
  • Coordinate and conduct absenteeism counselling sessions
  • Maintain absenteeism records for each employee
General

  • Act as first point of HR contact for Factory staff
  • Act as a liaison between Bargaining Council, Trade Unions and the Company
  • Handle staff HR admin and wages related queries
  • Assist with internal / external audits
  • Assist HR Manager with adhoc HR administrative tasks related to factory staff
  • Set up recruitment assessments and interviews
  • Register employees on Training courses
  • Grade 1 35 years' experience in a similar role
  • Understanding HR Administration requirements
  • Payroll certificate or equivalent
  • Experience processing wages and 3rd party payments
  • Understanding of basic wage principles and associate legal regulations (SARS, payroll, UIF etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience working with payroll systems (VIP preferably)
  • Indepth knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act
  • Computer literacy (Ms Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong administration skills
  • Reconciliation experience
  • Problem solving ability
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

R12, R15,500.00 per month
