Job Description:

  • As a Principal Community Business Development, some of your duties will include:
  • Perform analyses on new big ideas to meet community business needs stretch goals Feedback
  • Prepare presentations to inform decisionmaking on business opportunities in relevant committees
  • Perform data modelling and business analysis for development levers at local or regional level
  • Identify and detail concrete business opportunities to implement ideas
  • Coordinate required market research and innovation activities
  • Draw conclusions and recommend opportunities
  • Draw up business cases to assess and prioritise livelihoods projects
  • Evaluate business cases
  • Assess and synthesise opportunities across sites into integrated business case
  • Present business cases to the Livelihoods programme management committee
  • Support delivery of the relevant sustainability activities on a Business Unit level
  • Ensure compliance of the discipline with external (legislative, regulatory, permitting) requirements

This role is in the Corporate Affairs department at a Band 5 level reporting to the Head: Integrated Community Economic Development.

  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Engineering, or other quantitative field of study required

Your experience will include:

years' experience in business evaluation or development

  • Experience working with entrepreneurs and business senior management
  • Proven track record of working with rapidly changing deadlines and having an ability to move in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in project management skills and advance knowledge of Economics models
  • Advanced skills in the interpretation of benchmarks, and development of targeted, effective plans to achieve measurable operational improvements
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills and advanced analytical skills
