COMPANY OVERVIEW
An advanced genetics laboratory situated in Cape Town, South Africa is seeking to employ a Medical Sales Representative.

JOB OVERVIEW/ RESPONSIBILITIES


This position will be responsible for the coordination of sales activities to ensure profit maximization and the realization of sales targets within the Healthcare industry.

The position will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining customer relationships, and to promote customer retention satisfaction. You'll take ownership for your own area of the business. Managing your own territory, you'll design and implement medical marketing strategies. You'll educate doctors, medical and pharmaceutical specialists to understand the benefits of our products. Ultimately helping to improve the lives of millions of patients. Collaborate with the sales manager on projects and business initiatives. Co-ordinate and oversee the flow of services or products to the customers. Implement strategies to reach new customers and achieve new sales while maintaining sales targets. Establish and maintain relationships with current and new customers.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) or equivalent Science Degree - Required

Bachelor Commerce (BCom) or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) - Highly advantageous

Minimum 3 years work experience in diagnostics OR previous work experience in a laboratory - Required

Proven track record of sales achievement

Have a valid driver's license

Must be able to travel

Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills imperative

Diligent and hard working

Able to work unsupervised

Able to meet targets and be a self-starter

Knowledge of medical devices:
lab equipment, analytical instruments, biological products, cell biology equipment, cleaning and sterilization equipment an advantage.

Salary:
R30, R50,000.00 per month
