Assisting with Design Projects

  • Objective: Contribute to real-world design projects under the guidance of senior designers.
  • Key Results: - Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user interface designs for at least three major projects during each rotation. - Participate in design review sessions and present design work to the team. - Implement feedback from senior designers and improve design outputs accordingly.

Conducting and Analyzing User Research

  • Objective: Support user research activities to gain insights into user needs and behaviors.
  • Key Results: - Assist in planning and conducting at least two user research sessions (e.g., interviews, usability tests) per rotation. - Analyze research findings and contribute to user personas and journey maps. - Present research insights and recommendations to the design team.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Objective: Work effectively within cross-functional teams and communicate design ideas clearly.
  • Key Results: - Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders on at least one cross-functional project per rotation. - Prepare and deliver at least one presentation or demo of design work to stakeholders per rotation. - Participate actively in team meetings, providing constructive feedback and ideas.

Innovation and Creativity

  • Objective: Demonstrate innovative thinking and creative problem-solving in design tasks.
  • Key Results: - Propose at least one innovative design solution or improvement for an ongoing project per rotation. - Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to the design team. - Develop a portfolio piece that showcases innovative design work completed during the internship.
