Marketing Production Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to streamline content and creative operations, ensuring projects are completed on time.
  • Allocate team members effectively, to maximise productivity and meet project objectives.
  • Work closely with the Traffic Manager and wider agency team to plan and prioritise projects, establish timelines, and track progress throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster collaboration and communication between the agency and internal clients to facilitate smooth handoffs and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Enforce quality standards for content and creative output, conducting regular reviews and providing feedback to ensure deliverables meet brand guidelines and client expectations.
  • Monitor time spent on projects, identifying opportunities for optimising efficiencies while ensuring the highest level of quality and deliverability.
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential risks and obstacles that may impact project timelines or deliverables, proactively identifying solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating, and implementing tools and systems to enhance processes and productivity.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Key attributes and competencies

  • 45 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A degree in commerce, marketing, or similar.
  • A team player.
  • Agile, flexible, and calm under pressure.
  • A positive attitude.
  • Accuracy while multitasking.
  • Strong sense of selfdiscipline and ethics.
  • Based in Cape Town.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Office 365, Google Docs, Asana or similar, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to interpret and clarify briefs, seek information as needed, and manage client expectations.
  • Experience in developing and implementing efficient workflows and processes to streamline agency operations.
  • Ability to allocate personnel effectively, and to ensure schedules are set and tasks prioritised as needed.
  • Experience in collaborating closely with clients and agency team to plan and prioritise projects.
  • Ability to establish timelines and track progress throughout project lifecycle.
  • Experience in fostering collaboration and communication between clients and agency team.
  • Experience in establishing and enforcing quality standards for content and creative output.
  • Ability to conduct regular reviews and provide feedback to maintain quality.
  • Experience in anticipating and mitigating potential risks and obstacles.
