We are currently seeking a vibrant and guest-focused individual to join our team as a Reservations Coordinator/Host in the restaurant industry.


Under the supervision of the front-of-house manager, the reservations coordinator is responsible for:

  • Act as the first point of contact for guests.
  • Providing a warm and welcoming guest experience.
  • Managing and coordinating all aspects of the reservations process.
  • Collating accurate booking records.
  • Handling special booking requests.
  • Effectively communicating reservation details to the appropriate team members.
  • Providing exceptional customer service.
  • Addressing guest inquiries and concerns in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Proactively anticipating and accommodating guests' needs.
  • Making recommendations and offering personalised guest experiences.
  • Serving as an ambassador for our brand.
  • Managing Dineplan booking platform.
  • Managing telephonic bookings.
  • Collaborating closely with the frontofhouse team, including servers and managers, to ensure seamless operations and a cohesive guest experience.
  • Motivating and leading the reservations team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate records of reservations, guest preferences, and contact information.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, such as generating reports, handling proof of payments, and following up on financial transactions when necessary.
  • Staying informed about current promotions, menus, and restaurant events.
  • Effectively communicating information to guests and team members.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
  • Outstanding people skills.
