Job Summary

lead the integrated marketing and communications strategy and implementation within & across the full RBB value chain.

They have to ensure the extraction of commercial value by leveraging the full marketing value chain, and ensure the alignment of the marketing and communications strategy to the overarching RBB strategy taking into account the product and channel.

Moreover, they have to translate this into a cohesive implementation plan. Additionally, they will oversee the efficient and effective implementation thereof. This role forms part of the team who is responsible for creating compelling and commercially viable brand experiences.

Job Description:

Strategic Planning and Thought Leadership

  • Support Head of Strategic Marketing in creating an overarching RBB Marketing and Communication Strategy
  • Create and advise on product and proposition Marketing specific strategy
  • Align product and proposition Marketing specific strategy to the overarching RBB business purpose and strategic objectives
  • Develop marketing plans that are consumerfacing and customer centric
  • Understand consumer insights and segmentation to inform strategic intent
  • Set clear and measurable targets and key metrics that will indicate success
  • Work and collaborate with rest of Strategic Marketing team, Communications, Group Marketing and Communications to drive and ensure integrated marketing and internal / external communications.
  • Collaborate and integrate marketing strategy and GotoMarket plans with key CVP and segment teams.
Program Evaluation and Reporting

  • Collaborate with Research and Insights Manager to identify potential market gaps and opportunities and use measurement tools to determine
Gather and analyse trends, consumer segmentation, competitor insights, out of category trends etc. Turn data into operational and strategic insights and make recommendations based on research and analysis Leverage existing business knowledge / data to make recommendations for the BU Marketing strategy determine impact and influence of project interventions

Proposition Marketing Campaign execution

  • Develop 360 integrated marketing campaigns that change consumer perception, improve consideration and drive business outcomes.
  • Work with the Marketing Ops team to build a single campaign view.
  • Identifying the appropriate marketing channels to drive initiatives, and ensure optimal placement.
  • Develop and plan media channels in order to deliver against campaign requirements
  • Work with the Product, Channel and direct marketing teams to assist with the successful integration of channel and direct marketing programs and relevant CVP launches to increase consideration and/or generate leads.
Project Management

  • Collaboratively define, coordinate and lead the successful execution of the BU Marketing projects
  • Establish and articulate project scope, strategy and objectives
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations team in driving all aspects of marketing projects, including (but not limited to):
  • Meeting deadlines, contingency planning, approval channels, procedures, budgeting, monitoring and governance etc.
  • Oversee the channel mix rollout from initial concept to finished product and execution
  • Plan and use internal and external resources effectively to ensure maximum ROMI
  • Research, plan and evaluate project impact at various intervals (pre, during
- and post project reviews)

  • Manage risk and compliance

  • Develop and lead a high performing marketing team by embedding the business performance process, regular feedback and coaching.
  • Develop and maintain an effective team through selection, training, motivation, mentoring and performance management
  • Translate and communicate the CVM Strategic Marketing Business purpose to ensure buyin from the team
  • Ensure shared learning and collaboration across the different marketing teams
  • Responsible for overall quality and presentation of work
