ROLE PURPOSE

The Manager:
Quality and Standards plays a crucial role within SAPRO's Quality and Standards Department.

This position is responsible for ensuring that our talent development programs are well-positioned to prepare staff for the specific requirements of SAPRO clients at which they would be deployed.

The primary focus of this role is to maintain and enhance the quality standards of our talent development initiatives, align them with industry best practices, and continuously improve our hiring and training protocols

PRIMARY TASKS

As the Talent Development Manager:
Quality and Standards the incumbent will primarily be responsible for the following:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and frameworks for talent development programs, ensuring they meet the specific requirements of audit firms.
  • Conduct audits and assessments of existing talent development programs to evaluate their effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and recommend necessary changes.
  • Ensure technology is leveraged effectively in talent development to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Contracting and compliance and Enablement teams, to design and deploy comprehensive learning programs that address skill gaps and enhance staff readiness for SAPRO Client deployment.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with SAPRO Clients to understand their specific requirements and incorporate their feedback into our talent development standards and programs.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and key result areas (KRAs) related to talent development, including staff readiness, program effectiveness, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and support to trainers and facilitators involved in delivering training programs, ensuring the effective transfer of knowledge and skills.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and changes in audit firm requirements to ensure the continuous improvement and relevance of our talent development programs.

CORE COMPETENCIES

The following core competencies will be beneficial:
years' work experience

  • Extensive experience in audit, preferably as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (South Africa).
  • Strong background in learning and talent development, preferably with experience in facilitating or teaching at a tertiary level.
  • Proven track record in client management within the staffing/workforce augmentation industry.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, audit firms, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Detailoriented with a commitment to maintaining highquality standards and attention to accuracy.

  • Improved staff readiness for deployment, as measured by increased performance ratings and positive feedback from audit firms.
  • Enhanced program effectiveness and relevancy, demonstrated through positive audit findings, improved client satisfaction scores, and reduced skill gaps.
  • Effective incorporation of audit firm feedback into talent development programs, resulting in increased alignment with their specific requirements.
  • Continuous improvement of talent development initiatives based on industry best practices, market trends, and regulatory changes.
