Senior Manager: Governance and Support

Job Summary:
Provide leadership to any segment (BUs - Support Services) of the SCM governance function by developing and overseeing strategy implementation to ensure effective supplier management and document control that adheres to internal policy and public legislature.
Qualification:
- Degree (NQF Level 7) in Commerce / Engineering / Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years in a governance environment of which 5 years in a managerial role
- Institutional knowledge of the PFMA, PPPFA, Companies Act and all related public sector legislature
- Minimum 4 years in a role with direct liaising on Audit matters with and external auditor.

- Cost analysis and effective management of Cross Functional Sourcing Team
- Problem analysis and Strong analytical thinking judgement
- Very strong compliance and governance skills
- Strong employee life cycle skills independent of an HR function
- Interpersonal teamwork negotiation
- Ability to perform a budget to actual gap analysis
