Duties

  • Interview staff and managers to assess training needs
  • Design training courses based on needs of the business
  • Organise inhouse and offsite activities, like presentations, job simulations and roleplaying exercises
  • Conduct weekly onsite training, as per site specification or training roster
  • Design and implement all course content
  • Enrich courses with visual aids to engage trainees
  • Measure outcomes from trainings
  • Research and recommend learning equipment (e.g., platforms)
  • Calculate and report on training costs
  • Ensure new hires conduct all mandatory training as required by their roles
  • Ensure area compliance with LMS loaded trainings from Division
  • Facilitate, Assess and Moderate SASSETA Skills training courses
  • Facilitate, Assess and Moderate PSIRA training for external and internal learners.
  • Conduct induction training with all new joiners
  • Coordinate external training as per operational requirements
  • Provide support with Recruitment, Administration and People related projects as required based on operational requirements.

Education and Special Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 1
  • Tertiary qualification suitable to the position
  • At least 4 years' experience in a training role
  • Be an accredited facilitator, assessor and moderator (Essential)
  • SASSETA Accredited (preferable)
  • PSIRA Graded / Instructor qualified (Essential)
  • Strong administration skills essential
  • High proficiency in MS Office
  • Drivers Licence (Essential)
