Description of the role

To nurture and strengthen relationships with our current client base in the Commerce sector. This position also involves actively promoting the complete range of services offered by our Private Bank to these clients, while also showcasing the Investec Group.

Skills, Experience and Education

  • Min 3 – 4 years of experience in financial services
  • Demonstrated track record in client service and sales
  • B Com (Accounting II)/ B com HONS

The Result

Sales Management

Client Management and Experience

  • Provide exceptional client service and maintain professional and efficient interactions with both external and internal stakeholders
  • Initiate proactive client communication and manage client expectations
  • Focus on client retention, including delivering service and gathering feedback from our entire client base
  • Act as a link and facilitator for clients' needs within different divisions of the Investec Group such as Investec Capital Markets, Investec Asset Management, and Investec Wealth & Investment
  • Prepare and present deals to the Credit forum

Risk Management

  • Manage credit risk effectively, serving as the initial point of contact for credit-related matters
  • Stay informed about and adhere to compliance and regulatory frameworks in all client interactions
  • Maintain awareness of and strictly follow confidentiality protocols at all times
