HR Generalist

Purpose of the Role


To undertake a wide range of HR tasks, including assisting with organizing and administering employee benefits and leaves and crafting HR policies within HR the functions.

You will use Human Resources

Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. And you'll also act as the main point of contact for employees' queries on HR-related topics.

To ensure the HR department's operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer compensation and benefit plans.
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
  • Provide support to employees in various HRrelated topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflictfree workplace.
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Undertake tasks around performance management.
  • Gather and analyse data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
  • Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee relations matters.
  • Assist with Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
  • Ensure compliance with labour regulations.
  • Submission and conduct EE Meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field
  • Proven success working in an HR department.
  • Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft software
  • Knowledge of national laws and regulations related to employment.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
  • Aptitude for problemsolving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
  • Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary
