Job Description
This role involves leading the Human Resources team for the Africa region. As the HR leader for the region, you will develop and execute a strong people strategy that aligns with the regional and global business objectives. Reporting directly to the Regional Managing Director, you will oversee all members of the HR team in the region.
To excel in this position, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Pan African HR and employment law expertise, including a track record of establishing HR policies and procedures across diverse African locations
- Proven experience in structuring and enhancing an HR team's capabilities to create a proficient department that fulfills the evolving needs of a growing organization
- Capability to drive the HR agenda while Turner & Townsend expands into new countries and regions
- Promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Leading the implementation of HR projects on a regional scale
- Successfully deploying global HR initiatives throughout Africa
- Developing and overseeing regional HR communications
- Implementing strategic talent recognition and development programs for Africa
